1v1 King of the Hill Survival Competition with a Minimum of 7 Tour Stops Worldwide!
In partnership with FACEIT, ROCCAT proudly presents the upcoming ROCCAT Cross CS:GO Globetrotter Championship. The exciting world tour celebrates the recent release of the multi-platform Cross headset that’s outstanding everywhere. The Cross is the headset that’s developed for YOU, not your device. It’s equally at home on your PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One as it is when you’re on the go with your mobile device – traveling the world! The tour will feature a minimum of seven stops: Australia, the US, China, Poland, the UK, France and Germany. It will have a 1v1 king-of-the-hill survival format, with the winner of each stop securing a spot at the next destination to take on a new challenger. The participants at each stop will get their flights and accommodation covered by ROCCAT!
The qualification for the first stop of tour will take place both offline at DreamHack Winter 2016 and online at FACEIT, with qualifiers for each additional tour stop also being run by FACEIT. Stay tuned for news on future qualification events.
Qualification for Stop #1
DreamHack Winter 2016 Offline Qualification
A BYOC kick-off competition for the first stop of the exciting new tour will take place at DreamHack Winter 2016. The 128-player 1v1 competition will take place on an aim map, starting on Friday the 25th at 6pm. The finals will take place at the ROCCAT booth the following day, Saturday. The winner will win a spot on the upcoming ROCCAT Cross CS:GO 1v1 Globetrotter Tour!
FACEIT Community Night Online Qualification
Regional online community nights hosted by FACEIT will give gamers from the participating countries the opportunity to secure a spot on the tour. Players will be assigned into 5v5 teams using FACEIT’s skill-based matchmaking system ensuring a fair playing field. Each community night will be open from 6pm to 2am local time and there is no limit to how many maps you can play. The winner is determined at the end of the community night based on performance over the course of the evening. This lucky winner will not only win themselves a brand new ROCCAT Cross headset but can also pack his or her bags for the ROCCAT Cross CS:GO 1v1 Globetrotter Tour!
Qualification for Additional Tour Stops
The winner of each tour stop will automatically qualify to compete at the following stop. His or her opponent will be determined via online qualifier run by FACEIT. Stay tuned for news on future qualifiers!
