Art and Games Mix in this Exclusive Live Demo!

Following up on their live demonstration of the creative tool sets included in their art history brick breaking game, Mondrian – Plastic Reality, Lantana Games has released the video of this demo on their Youtube channel. The video covers all the ways creators can express themselves in the game, including the Mondrian Maker level editor, Mondrian Studio graphic tools, and the in-game Museum.

In this exclusive talk between Lantana Games’ Danny Silvers and GamerJibe’s Sarah Ngyuen, artists are introduced to all the ways they can be a part of a growing, creative community, from sharing their own artworks on Steam Workshop to using their creations in prints, merch, and even NFTs. Meanwhile, gamers are shown just how much content, variety, and excitement awaits them in Mondrian’s unique blend of nostalgic gameplay and dynamically generated challenges.

The GamerJibe art lounge was a wonderful event!” says Lantana’s Danny Silvers. “We’ve always found it important to share our work directly with our audience, and the advent of digital platforms like GamerJibe has allowed us to bring Mondrian to audiences outside of our usual scope. We hope that this one hour video can shed some light on how Mondrian, as a platform, can help artists do the same, and bring their work to a creative community ready to discover, and play, new works from around the world.”

About Mondrian – Plastic Reality
In Mondrian – Plastic Reality, you join Piet Mondrian and his modernist friends on time-tripping heists through art history to uncover their lost works in a colorful, brickbreaking, mind-bending experience with roguelite-esque and creative-centric sensibilities. Included with the game are toolsets that offer artists a new way to share their works with the world. These include Mondrian Maker, an easy-to-learn level editor, and Mondrian Studio, a graphic design suite tailormade for today’s connected creatives. Players can import their own artworks as background images for their Mondrian Maker/Studio creations, and upload those creations to Steam Workshop with the press of a button.

Mondrian – Plastic Reality is available on Steam for Windows.
