The beloved apestronauts of the community spoke, and the developers listened. The update features a new difficulty setting, for those that want to truly relax.

Watch the new trailer, and if you can relate, this update is made for you! –

The update focuses on a lovingly named Chill Mode, that tweaks aspects of the game which some considered a bit challenging. The new mode allows the players to take their sweet time raising constructions and pushes the required time constraints further. It also makes certain blocks lighter and easier to maneuver, as well as making explosive blocks harder to trigger.

To invite more gamers to chill together, Bonkies will be available with a -50% discount on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam. That means you can start monkeying around for $/€7.49, instead of the usual $/€14.99!
Those that want to vibe with the tunes of Bonkies can purchase a bundle complete with soundtrack on PlayStation and PC.

Bonkies were made by a small, independent studio in Norway specifically to bring people together in joyful, cooperative challenges for up to 4 players. The game is packed with cute animals, brain-teasing missions and goofy mishaps, a perfect recipe for a peaceful evening with friends and family at home.

For all those socially distancing, who can’t sit down on the same couch together – play online through Steam’s Remote Play Together on PC!

About Bonkies
Bonkies is a jolly party game about cooperation, space construction and the joys of colonising the solar system as a team of monkeys. Players will be tasked with raising all sorts of quirky constructions on distant planets, by stacking blocks so they fit a given outline. To do so, they will have to team up with other space faring animals and master the use of their trusty apequipment – a banana-fuelled jetpack and a powerful robo-arm.
On top of that, they’ll have to utilise the wackiest kinds of blocks (magnets, rockets and even nuclear fusion are no strangers for a well-trained apestronaut), and work in exotic and not-really-monkey-friendly places. Who said space construction was going to be easy?
