Ultron, Hulkbuster, Darth Maul and Toy Box Expansion Games Launches at Retail Stores

Today, Disney Interactive announced that four new playable characters are available for Disney Infinity 3.0: Play Without Limits. Today’s launch represents the fourth wave of new offerings for Disney Infinity 3.0 and includes the first Marvel characters for Disney Infinity 3.0, Hulkbuster and Ultron, as well as one of the most highly anticipated Star Wars™ characters, Darth Maul. The two new games, Toy Box Takeover and Toy Box Speedway, are now available and will give players additional hours of gameplay inside Toy Box 3.0.

Character Highlights for All New Figures Include:

ULTRON: Ultron, the world’s most advanced robot and maniacal Super Villain, will stop at nothing to destroy humanity and their protectors, the mighty Avengers. With the ability to summon duplicate robotic sentries, the character uses magnetic pull followed by a powerful blast of energy to defeat his foes.

HULKBUSTER: Hulkbuster, the mega-sized armor created by Tony Stark, combines the incredible force of Hulk with the tech capabilities of Iron Man. A brute tank, Hulkbuster’s powerful combo attacks are great at dealing with nearby groups of enemies while his Thruster Dash makes up for his lack of overall speed, allowing him to close distance with targets easily. Missiles, thrusters for flight and a suit-integrated tractor beam complement this powerhouse.

DARTH MAUL: The deadly Darth Maul uses his double-bladed Lightsaber™ and dark side Force™ powers in death-defying duels against his enemies.

Toy Box Expansion Game Overviews:

Toy Box Takeover – When Syndrome gets his hands on Merlin’s magic wand, it’s up to the player to stop him. Using their favourite characters in Disney Infinity, they must battle across multiple worlds, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Marvel’s Upper Manhattan, The Old West, or The Incredibles Volcano Lair to defeat the bad guys before they ruin the Toy Box forever. Family and friends can play together via two-player local co-op or four-player online.

Toy Box Speedway – Players can join their favourite Disney, Disney•Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters and vehicles in an action-packed kart-racer. With nine franchise-themed tracks to choose from – Sugar Rush, Frozen, Tatooine, a classic Star Wars location, San Fransokyo, Agrabah, Monsters Inc., Halloween Town, Gravity Falls or Marvel’s Knowhere – players can choose from three different game modes including Time Trial mode, Race mode and Combat mode. Players put their driving skills to the test as they attack opponents with gadgets and weapons and earn trophies across three challenge cups.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is fully localized with voices and text in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish.

Disney Infinity 3.0: Play Without Limits Video Game and Base are required to play the Toy Box Expansion Games. Toy Box Takeover and Toy Box Speedway will be sold separately.

The Disney Infinity 3.0: Play Without Limits Starter Pack, Disney•Pixar Inside Out and Star Wars™ Rise Against The Empire Play Sets are currently available in major Nordic retail stores for the PlayStation^®4 and PlayStation^®3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One and Xbox 360 and the WiiU™ system from Nintendo. Disney Infinity 3.0: play Without Limits is rated PEGI 7 and developed by Avalanche Software in partnership with Ninja Theory, Sumo Digital, Studio Gobo and United Front Games. Additional Disney Infinity 3.0 Play Sets, Power Discs and figures will be available later this year.

All figures and Power Discs from the 1.0 and 2.0 editions of Disney Infinity will be compatible with Disney Infinity 3.0 in the enhanced Toy Box 3.0.
